Exporting for Manufacturing

PDF Export
Create a comprehensive PDF document with all project sheets and tables.
What's Included
- All drawing sheets in the project
- BOM (Bill of Materials) table
- Wire List table
- Professional formatting with borders and footers
How to Export
- Open the Manufacturing Data panel
- Click Export PDF
- Choose export options:
- Include all sheets or select specific ones
- Include BOM table
- Include Wire List table
- Click Export
- Save the PDF file
PDF Contents
Each sheet exports as a separate page with:
- Full drawing at scale
- Title block with project metadata
- Sheet number and revision
Layer visibility controls what prints
The PDF includes a layer only if that layer is currently visible on the sheet (toggle layers in Side Menu → Visualization). For example, if you leave the Grid layer visible, the reference grid now appears in the exported PDF; hide it first for a clean, grid-free drawing. The on-canvas editing overlay (resize/rotate handles) is never printed.
Excel Export
Generate spreadsheets for use in manufacturing systems.
BOM (Bill of Materials)
The BOM lists all components with aggregated quantities:

To export BOM:
- Open Manufacturing Data panel
- Click Export Excel
- Select BOM
- Save the .xlsx file
Wire List
The Wire List details all wire connections:

| To | Destination component and pin |
| Color | Wire color code |
| Gauge | Wire cross-section |
| Length | Calculated wire length |
To export Wire List:
- Open Manufacturing Data panel
- Click Export Excel
- Select Wire List
- Save the .xlsx file
Export Tips
Before Exporting
- Validate your design - Check for missing connections or properties
- Complete component data - Ensure part numbers and manufacturers are filled in
- Review wire lengths - Verify routing is complete for accurate length calculations
Customization
- Table styles can be configured in project settings
- Fonts and borders follow professional standards
- Multi-line text is handled correctly
